Responsibilities
- Work with team members to strategically and proactively manage claims and claim-related issues to the most expedient, cost effective resolution
- Work with team members to strategically and proactively manage claims and claim-related issues to the most expedient, cost effective resolution; provide quality customer service to all stakeholders which includes proactive communication and follow through at all times.
- Provide authority for level 2 CRs to reserve claims within senior CR authority. Review the proposed reserve, provide coaching where appropriate, and document the authority.
- Maintain all Senior CR performance standards to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Manages conflict - strategically navigates difficult conversations and is ideally able to find best outcome for all parties.
- Successfully manages multiple priorities and a large workload while meeting deadlines.
- Relationship Building
- Develop the relationships with stakeholders that helps to build trust when resolving claims issues and securing customer loyalty to Pinnacol.
Requirements
- Determine compensability as required by Company best practices, case law and the Colorado Workers' Compensation Act.
- Facilitate completion of settlement documents and obtain approval from the DOWC as required by Company best practices.
- Inform policyholders and agents of claim status and significant development as required by Company best practices.
- Must utilize knowledge of likely treatment and outcomes for a variety of injuries, as well as predict the cost of that treatment.
- Process records as required by Company documented best practices
- Must demonstrate the ability to apply Colorado jurisdictional requirements.
- Must be proficient in proactively resolving indemnity claims in a timely, cost-efficient manner, including experience with litigation management and claim resolution/settlement.

Compensation
- $80,900 - $85,600 USD
