About the role

  • We have an opportunity for an AR&D Lab & Sample Coordinator to join our team.
  • This role ensures the Analytical Laboratory is stocked and prepared for daily work to meet business needs and production schedules.
  • The position requires strong organizational, computer, and communication skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot vendor or service provider issues.

Responsibilities

  • It involves clerical tasks with some hands-on activities to maintain laboratory upkeep.
  • Work with vendors to obtain best pricing and manage weekly vendor-managed inventory.
  • Inspect and verify supplies upon arrival and deliver to the Analytical Laboratory.
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheet documentation for all chemicals and provide to the EHS Department.
  • Maintain sample room and controlled substance storage organization.
  • Work with the supervisor to maintain and organize lab space as needed.
  • Collaborate with project management and accounts team to communicate and send details of eligible rebilling items.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain efficiency.

Requirements

  • Ability to multitask with high efficiency.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated performance regarding all lab safety processes and procedures, and ability to work safely with chemicals of varying potency.
  • Basic knowledge of laboratory safety.
  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Correspond with suppliers and co-workers for required documents and maintain ordering files.
