Responsibilities
- 50%: Support the BESS/Microgrid sales team prior to Purchase Order (PO) with early-stage technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 0-1 years' experience working in an Engineering role
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
Nice to have
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree
- Experience as a technical communicator or educator
- Power or energy modeling experience
- Project management experience.
- Essential Duties:
- Listen, understand, and convey customer project requirements
- Review electrical one-line diagrams, sequence of operations, and other technical specifications for BESS and microgrid projects.
- Recommend required design and functional changes needed to align with the product line and drive standardization.
Skills
- Ability to interpret customer specifications;
- Ability to analyze and answer technical questions;
- Ability to analyze electrical diagrams and control schematics;
- Ability to read and interpret electrical symbols, characters, and modify;
- Ability to apply product knowledge and technical skills to solve simple application problems with supervision;
- Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Compensation
- Generac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
- The salary range for this role when based in Fort Collins, Colorado is $ 78,200.00 - $100,00.00 USD Annual.
- This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled.
- Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
- This role is eligible for variable compensation including short- and long-term incentives.
