About the role
- Due to the nature of the work, this position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, on a regular basis.
- Plans and executes corporate student events, speaker series, and other events targeted to students for CPIC.
- Prepares written briefings related to prospective companies, CPIC's year-end reports, and other CPIC related reports and newsletters.
Responsibilities
- Experience using Google Workspace, Mailchimp, Canva, and similar design products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time performing general office functions with periods of standing for event setup, registration, and event supervision.
- Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, push and reach with arms.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs. and arrange furniture for events.
- Knowledge of outreach and marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record-keeping.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
Skills
- Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Learn how military skills translate to civilian opportunities with O*Net Online
- Skill in oral and written communication.
- Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Compensation
- $38,795 - $41,300
