About the role
- As a Title Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the title process by assisting our title officer with various critical tasks during the process of opening, closing and recording real estate transactions.
- This position is onsite in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
- Review title commitments, policies, and other related documents.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintain organized title files.
- Support the processing of title curative matters as needed.
- Provide administrative support, including handling correspondence and maintaining records.
Requirements
- Prior experience in title insurance, escrow, or real estate.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and title software (e.g., SoftPro, Smartview or similar).
Compensation
- FNF, its affiliates, and subsidiaries carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, specialty, experience, and work location.
- Based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience, this position has the potential to earn compensation in the range of $26.00 - $32.00 hourly.
- The base compensation is one component of the total rewards package offered to our employees, including optional health and welfare insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability); paid holidays, vacation, and sick time off; and matching 401(k) plan and matching employee stock purchase plan.
