About the role
- The System Testing Team is acting as a Global Team responsible for testing a whole client architecture and delivering a software with high quality to be deployed in production for the clients in charge.
Responsibilities
- The team is also responsible for managing and leading clients into production environment, and drive internal implementation projects, support and documentation.
Requirements
- Experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of quality processes
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Functional knowledge in finance, ideally in front-office processing
- Test automation experience, preferably using tools such as VERIFIX or similar
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross‑team influence skills in a fast‑paced engineering organization
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, communication, and people skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, activities, and problem areas
Skills
- Writing integration test scenarios based on Specifications
- Executing test scenarios
- Executing the manual testing of new or existing feature
- Identifying, logging, tracking and resolving software bugs
- Implementing automated integration tests using the appropriate test automation tool
- Running and maintaining the automated regression test suites
- Providing functional advice and assistance to other system testing or scrum teams
- Implementing testing best practices and tools
- Ensuring deliveries documentation and guidance with respecting ETA & deadlines
- Ensuring client support to implement tested functionalities
- Ensure Integration testing for Major Valdi Global Markets clients for regulatory Exchange migrations and client upgrades
- Assess migration's impacts and elaborate testing scope based on client workflow/ architecture
