Responsibilities
- Conducts in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Develops and maintains complex financial models to forecast future financial performance and assess potential risks and opportunities.
- Identifies and assesses financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential impacts on the company's financial stability.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for operational and strategic initiatives.
- Drives continuous process improvements and implements best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy and value creation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to analyze situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Adapts to evolving business conditions and strategic priorities.
- Provides technical advice and support to lower-level positions, management, and other departments.
- Property & Casualty Finance
Nice to have
- Generally, 6 or more years of experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred.
- Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools (CoPilot preferred).
