About the role

  • Our site in San Luis Obispo is seeking a Manufacturing Mechanical Technician to join our team.
  • This will include, but not limited to; manufacturing various sub-assemblies to engineering specifications, as well as assist with routing cables and conduit on our systems.
  • This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to build sub-assemblies with supervision.
  • Performs routine, repetitive assembly operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments.
  • Focus on attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality
  • Dependability and flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs
  • The new hire in this role will have the potential to grow and create relationships across the organization and be recognized for demonstrated success and adherence to company PACE values.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years' experience mechanical assembly and/or relevant experience
  • Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find BOMs, drawings and instructions
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily
  • Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Ability to learn how handle material responsibly
