About the role

Requirements
- Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders and audiences.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in internal and external teams with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Undergraduate or graduate student with a focus in urban planning, transportation planning, environmental planning, public policy, community/regional planning or related field
- Completed at least three years of accredited college/university level coursework.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and task management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced remote work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Intern Project:
- They will assist in the execution of the South Bay Cities Council of Governments Local Travel Network Outreach Plan (including attending in person outreach events). This includes developing outreach materials, run of show, organizing logistics for upcoming engagement activities, including a ride -n-drive event. In addition, they will support with Clean Mobility Options program administrative work, including organizing off-site(s).
- Draft outreach materials, including content for flyers, presentations, and community feedback tools.
- Support coordination and logistics for public events, pop-ups, and engagement activities.
- Compile and synthesize community input and survey data into summary reports.
- Track outreach activities and stakeholder engagement in a centralized system.
- Develop a summary presentation or visual product capturing key outreach findings and highlights.
- Provide general planning support for related mobility equity initiatives.
- Support the team with additional Clean Mobility Options duties and/or responsibilities, as needed
