About the role
- The E&I Technician II is responsible for the advanced maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting of complex electrical and instrumentation systems.
- This role requires high-level technical expertise to install, calibrate, and repair digital industrial instrumentation and networked control systems to ensure optimal plant performance.

Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures, conduct inspections of plant areas, and ensure deficiencies found are resolved or appropriately communicated.
- Assisting supervision in the design and replacement of equipment to enhance plant electrical performance.
Requirements

- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to work well and communicate well with other GAF employees, at all levels in the organization
- Intermediate proficiency in G suite
Nice to have
- Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and 5S initiatives.
- Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing plant-wide control systems, including PLCs, DCS, and SCADA platforms.
- Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial networks and communication protocols.
- Installing and calibrating pneumatic, hydraulic, and digital instrumentation to factory specifications.
- Providing training and technical guidance to Maintenance Electricians to improve overall plant system knowledge.
- Associate's Degree Associates or technical degree or certification in a related field
- 5+ years industrial maintenance experience in a high volume manufacturing operations, preferably continuous process
- NFPA 70e certificate preferred Preferred
Skills
- Setting up, configuring, and performing backups for industrial PCs and SQL/HMI databases.
- Utilizing predictive technologies to improve equipment uptime and participating in continuing training processes.
