About the role

- Safely assist clients with mobility and transfers using mechanical lifts (Hoyer, sit-to-stand) or manual assistance, following prescribed mobility plans and ensuring proper body mechanics and safety procedures.
- Use and dispose of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, gowns, and eye protection as per infection prevention and control protocols and Public Health Ontario guidelines.

Requirements
- Perform prescribed range of motion (ROM) and physical therapy exercises under direction of a physiotherapist or care plan, and assist with ambulation inside the home or outdoors if required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, for documentation and communication with clients and care teams.
- Must be comfortable and capable of providing care to both male and female clients of varying ages and care needs.
- Must have a valid driver's licence and reliable access to vehicle to complete daily tasks Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Coordinators when needed.
Nice to have
- Available for 10-12 hour shifts MUST be available Saturday AND Sunday, day and evening availability preferred
- open to exploring other PT availability.
