About the role

  • In this role, you will bridge the gap between hardware, software, and production, ensuring seamless testing and production line readiness for our advanced AI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Etched is building AI chips that are hard-coded for individual model architectures.
  • Our first product (Sohu) only supports transformers, but has an order of magnitude more throughput and lower latency than a B200.
  • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including ASIC design and software engineering, to build and optimize test and production processes that drive high yield, quality, and throughput.
  • Relocation support for those moving to Cupertino

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering, production engineering, or a related role in the semiconductor or electronics industry
  • Strong understanding of system-level and functional testing methodologies
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methods for optimizing test time, yield, and throughput
  • Hands-on experience with server-level testing and diagnostics
  • Familiarity with automation tools and techniques for production lines
