  • Join our Corporate Communications team as a Corporate Communications Specialist, where you'll help bring the Happen Bank brand to life with internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development and distribution of a weekly internal newsletter
  • Support the rollout of company initiatives by helping to prepare messaging and detailed communications plans
  • Create graphics and visual designs to enhance and amplify communications, including the creation of notices on digital signage
  • Collaboration & Support:
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team on a variety of internal and external initiatives and events, contributing ideas and enthusiasm
  • Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage logistics and coordination on a variety of ad hoc projects
  • Explore and experiment with AI-powered communication tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot) to support innovative storytelling and team efficiency

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience (including internships) in communications, journalism, digital media, or a related discipline
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Comfort with emerging AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) and curiosity about how they shape the future of communications
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Skills

  • Monitor communication effectiveness using analytics dashboards and measurement tools, recommending improvements to boost impact

Compensation

  • The target base salary range for this position is 70,000-82,000.
  • The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location.
  • Base salary is just one part of LendingClub's Total Rewards package.
  • You may also be eligible for long-term awards (equity) and an annual bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings).

  • While the position will primarily work local hours, LendingClub is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.
