About the role

  • The Mechanic at Wright Canada Holdings is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and operational issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
  • Inspect equipment and vehicles to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Wright Canada Holdings' fleet of vehicles and equipment
  • Complete and maintain accurate work orders, service records, and maintenance documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Support field operations by ensuring equipment is operational and available when needed
  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's culture of safety and employee ownership
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues efficiently
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Minimum of 2 years of related mechanical experience

Nice to have

  • Journeyperson certification preferred but not required

  • Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and electronic maintenance tracking systems
  • Able to provide and maintain basic mechanic tools
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
