About the role
- The Mechanic at Wright Canada Holdings is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and operational issues and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Inspect equipment and vehicles to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Wright Canada Holdings' fleet of vehicles and equipment
- Complete and maintain accurate work orders, service records, and maintenance documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support field operations by ensuring equipment is operational and available when needed
- Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's culture of safety and employee ownership
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
Requirements
- Working knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues efficiently
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Minimum of 2 years of related mechanical experience
Nice to have
- Journeyperson certification preferred but not required

- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and electronic maintenance tracking systems
- Able to provide and maintain basic mechanic tools
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
