About the role
- This includes planning, organizing, and implementing standards-aligned lessons, activities, and assessments.
- Intellectual Prep and Delivery of Instruction
- Participate fully in weekly instructional coaching activities (including analysis of student learning, intellectual prep, observation debrief, etc.) and execute on next steps
Responsibilities
- Teachers collaborate across grade levels and departments to provide a rigorous academic program.
- Implement and execute the adopted Grow Public Schools Units of Study and high-quality instructional materials
- Prepare and implement integrated lessons that reflect a student's IEP and lead to deep student understanding based on state standards and accommodations
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate standards-based grading records, utilizing various student information management systems and technology platforms
- Maintain frequent communication with scholars, scholars' families, colleagues, and school leaders (both in-person and virtually)
Requirements
- Familiarity with and/or the ability to learn SIRUS, IEP writing and Special Ed Reporting Software
- Proficiency with various technologies and teaching tools
- A Bachelor's degree
- Update and maintain all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
- Prepare required reports on students and activities
