  • oversee multidisciplinary teams and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and quality for sediment remediation projects.
  • Support permitting, stakeholder coordination, and construction-phase services while providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
  • evaluate complex physical, chemical, and biological processes influencing sediment behavior; integrate large data sets; and develop creative, compliant, and constructible remediation strategies.
  • develop high-quality technical deliverables, including work plans, feasibility studies, design packages, and construction documentation.
  • build and sustain strong relationships with clients, regulatory personnel, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Barr is seeking an engineer, geologist, or hydrogeologist with specialized expertise in sediment remediation to join our Seattle office.
  • The ideal candidate for this position is a clear and confident communicator who thrives in collaborative and independent settings.

Compensation

  • Anticipated range of $115,000-$155,000 annually.
  • Compensation will vary based on relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
  • Profit distribution: Barr has a "no retained earnings" model and distributes all profit to our employees through our annual bonus distribution plan, ESOP, and dividends to shareholders
