Vertex is currently accepting applications for full-time Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic located in Alida, SK.

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, and repairs on heavy equipment
Perform testing and inspection to ensure repairs are complete and in compliance with manufacture specifications and government regulations and standards

2-3 years' experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic is an asset
Experience with or knowledge of hydraulic and diesel engine repairs
Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
Determine and document required repairs
Complete required documentation and reporting for inspections and repairs

Heavy Duty Apprentice Mechanic
Class 5 License with a clean drivers' abstract
Must hold current and up to date first-aid and H2S alive safety certificates or willing to obtain
Ability to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties
Successful candidates will demonstrate integrity and reliability
A valid class 1 or 3 drivers' license is considered an asset
