About the role
- At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference.
- The General Manager is responsible for driving strategic Distribution Center (DC) objectives as well as directly/indirectly managing the tactical execution through the leadership team.
- Salary Range: You`ll earn between $120,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on experience.
Requirements
- DC Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand and walk.
- The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, grasp and perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions.
- The employee is frequently required to climb stairs, kneel/squat, bend and carry.
Nice to have
- Monitor expenses to ensure costs are in line with Company guidance.
- Initiate, review, and monitor DC vendor contracts.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 7-9 years Experience in a high-volume distribution environment
- 4-6 years of experience leading and facilitating cross-functional teams.
- 4-6 years of Distribution Center management experience is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
Compensation
- You`ll earn between $120,000 - $190,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 15% of base salary.
- Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 152 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.
- 401k plan and matches $1 for $1 up to 4% of earnings, matched & vested at every pay cycle
