About the role
- Assists in training less experienced employees on manual/automated assembly or semi-automatic packaging processes, adhering to safety regulations, quality initiatives, lean tools, and Panduit's operating system and manufacturing procedures.
- Works independently and in team settings, with some leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality inspections following Panduit's quality systems and procedures, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.
- Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs, perform repetitive tasks, and be on your feet majority of shift.
- Work in Comfort: Stay cool and focused with an air-conditioned workspace designed for productivity and comfort.
Requirements
- 1 year of previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or similar environment required.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new skills and knowledge quickly.
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in using a calculator and measuring tools.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Skills
- Executes tasks across multiple basic and some intermediate technologies within the department.
- Operates approximately 25% of the next level equipment or processes in continued development towards the next level.
