About the role
- The Director establishes governance, standards, and processes to ensure knowledge is effectively created, maintained, and shared.
- The role oversees execution of knowledge management initiatives across units, coordinating communications, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability through structured project management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a division wide knowledge management strategy.
- Establish and maintain standards for knowledge creation, organization and life-cycle management, including regular review and updates to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Lead the Knowledge Management Liaison Network to surface needs, support prioritization, and drive communication and adoption across division units.
- Establish and manage an intake and prioritization framework for training and knowledge requests, aligned with divisional priorities, capacity, and risk.
- Manage workflow for training and knowledge development efforts from intake through delivery, ensuring alignment with priorities, transparency, and timely execution.
- Serve as a liaison between division subject matter experts and UCF IT business analysts to support analysis of complex processes and identify technology-enabled solutions.
- You'll be met with opportunities to connect and collaborate with talented faculty, staff, and students across 12 colleges and multiple campuses, engaging in impactful work that makes a positive difference.
Nice to have
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and driving adoption of new processes or systems.
- Master's degree in Organizational Development, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Instructional Design, Knowledge Management, or a related discipline.

Compensation
- The anticipated salary range for this position is $104,664 - $156,996.
