About the role

  • Veronica Beard is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Merchant to support the execution of merchandising strategies and business objectives for RTW Knitwear.
  • This individual will partner closely with the RTW Senior Merchant to help drive department goals and support the continued growth of Veronica Beard's global RTW business.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain line sheets and track style counts throughout all stages of development
  • Maintain product attributes across systems on a seasonal basis
  • Support month-end and quarter-end reporting, including selling decks and attribute deep dives
  • Partner with Creative teams to ensure samples are available for e-comm and marketing needs
  • Support JOOR photoshoots and showroom setup, ensuring readiness for market and presentations
  • Support Senior Merchant in seasonal assortment building and DTC buying process during Market
  • Act as a liaison between Design, Sales, Buying, and Production teams to support alignment
  • Develop and maintain Product Knowledge Guides for Sales, E-comm, and Store teams
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of merchandising and/or buying experience
  • Proficiency Excel and PowerPoint (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, reporting, and presentation building)
  • Strong understanding of market trends and competitive landscape, with a passion for product
