Responsibilities
- In this role, you will maintain electrical controls and associated equipment at water plants and tanks.
Requirements
- May be required to perform "stand-by duty", being available and responding to off-duty emergency call-ins to effect repairs to malfunctioning electrical, electronic and/or instrument systems.
- Performs related work as required.
- Accrued based on years of experience and calculated on hours worked
Nice to have
- Electrician Journeyman License or Certification in Electronics is preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience with instrumentation and controls.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Good reading, math, writing, and verbal communication skills
- a good scientific and mechanical aptitude
- and the ability to read, interpret, and record data from meters, gauges, scales, panels, and other equipment.
- Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees.
