Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for orthodontic procedures.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control standards in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Coordinate laboratory cases, prepare models, package appliances, and maintain accurate lab logs.
- Support efficient patient flow by preparing treatment areas before each appointment and ensuring rooms are cleaned and reset afterward.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Nice to have
- Orthodontic assisting experience preferred.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks, Dexis, iTero Scanner, and digital orthodontic imaging systems preferred.
- Familiarity with Invisalign®, clear aligner therapy, and fixed orthodontic appliances.
- Experience taking digital impressions and orthodontic records.
- $24-$27 per hour, commensurate with experience.
