About the role
- Through our Teens Make Health Happen program, we empower teens by encouraging them to become change agents within their families, schools, and neighborhoods.
- Contribute to the creation of new curriculum and educational materials by drafting objectives, facilitator guidance, hands-on activities, and visual aids or diagrams.
- Assist in organizing professional development (PD) content for managers and facilitators.
Responsibilities
- Support the creation of zine spreads and student-facing resources, maintaining consistency with organizational branding and accessibility guidelines.
- Digital Content Management & Organization Maintain and update the Curriculum Hub (SharePoint) by organizing files, revising module structures, and ensuring all materials - templates and existing resources - consistently align with current formatting and style standards.
- Collaboration & Teamwork Work closely with the Curriculum, Evaluation, and Mentor Engagement teams to support ongoing national initiatives.
- Where You Fit In We're looking for a detail-oriented, curious, and reliable thinker who will support the development, organization, and improvement of HealthCorps curriculum.
Requirements
- Ability to commit 6-8 hours per week for at least one semester.
- Basic writing skills with the ability to draft clear, youth-friendly content.
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools (Google Workspace and Microsoft Office).
- ability to travel to program sites and events as needed.
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access.
- If local to area: ability to travel to program sites and events as needed.
Nice to have
- Strong writing skills with an ability to adapt tone for youth, facilitators, and general audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in formatting, proofreading, version-tracking, or file organization.
