Sponsors, but it's cap-subject — you still face the weighted lottery (~61% per draw at Level IV). Good if you win; have a cap-exempt backup on your list.

Level I$106,7871 entry
Level II$134,2022 entries

Level IV$189,0514 entries

$5,651 more — $189,051 — moves this role to Level IV and 4 lottery entries. That figure is inside the range the employer already advertised.

Based on the DOL prevailing wage for this occupation and worksite, a base salary of $189,051 would place this position at wage Level IV. That figure is within the posted range, and I'd like to target it. This role classifies under "Software Developers" for prevailing-wage purposes.

Employer immigration record

Files H-1B transfers

15 transfer filings in the last year, covering 15 workers. Median labor-condition decision: 7 days. An employer that already files transfers is one that can take over an existing H-1B.

Sourced from Department of Labor LCA, PERM and prevailing-wage disclosure data. Employer matching is by name, so figures may be split across an employer's legal entities. Absence of a filing means none appears in our copy of the data, not that none exists.

  • We are considering applicants for the location of Los Angeles, CA (onsite).
  • As a Senior Software Engineer in Concepts Lab, you will take the lab's validated experiments into production and embed directly with the teams who will run them long-term.

Responsibilities

  • The lab moves in short cycles, so you will decide when to prototype quickly and when to build something meant to last, and each engagement ends with a real handoff, not a demo.
  • The team is small, which makes your work visible: the systems you build become the foundation the receiving team adopts, and the standards you set for testing, documentation, and release safety become the standard they inherit.
  • Design, build, and ship the software behind the lab's experiments directly inside production environments, turning unclear asks into a crisp plan and a milestone path.
  • Embed with delivery teams for the duration of each engagement, working within their systems and conventions to implement and build out the lab's experiments.
  • Mentor the engineers and contractors who collaborate with us, contribute to hiring, and help shape how Crunchyroll Engineering builds software.
  • The team partners closely with engineering, product, and business leaders to test assumptions, build evidence, and transition validated concepts into delivery teams.
  • Support program for new parents

Requirements

  • You have built and maintained CI/CD pipelines and integrated automated testing into them.
