Responsibilities
- We have many programs to support this, including our open workshop series, yearly involvement in NYC Open Data Week, Computing Fellows program, grant competitions, public interest technology initiatives and more.
Requirements
- Experience in computer science, STEM, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, with experience in design and content creation
- A solid background in computing and pedagogy is required.
Skills
- Strong understanding of computing and technology, combined with a solid foundation in pedagogical theories and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Experience in academic settings, particularly in teaching or coordinating educational initiatives
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of at least one coding language
- Ability to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to CSC events and programs
- Creative and driven to achieve results
Compensation
- The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
