Responsibilities

  • We have many programs to support this, including our open workshop series, yearly involvement in NYC Open Data Week, Computing Fellows program, grant competitions, public interest technology initiatives and more.

Requirements

  • Experience in computer science, STEM, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, with experience in design and content creation
  • A solid background in computing and pedagogy is required.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of computing and technology, combined with a solid foundation in pedagogical theories and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Experience in academic settings, particularly in teaching or coordinating educational initiatives
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of at least one coding language
  • Ability to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to CSC events and programs
  • Creative and driven to achieve results

Compensation

  • The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
  • The above hiring range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
