About the role

The Town of Snowmass Village is looking to hire a Recreation Instructor to join our Parks, Recreation and Trails team!

Uses creativity and ingenuity to develop a variety of programs including activities, games, lessons, etc. as applicable to the activities taught.

Relevant activity/sport specific training represented by a certification or award, preferred but not required.
Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification, preferred but not required
or able to acquire within 6 months after start date.
Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control, good character, integrity and adaptability.
Ability to deal with conflict professionally and effectively.
Ability to relate to others, inside and outside of one's peer group.

This is an in-person part-time position, offering part-time benefits and scheduled to start working on or after April 2026
We are looking for a Recreation Instructor that will assist with the planning and execution of programs, will supervise participants to ensure their safety and well-being, communicates effectively and work cooperatively with participants, families, and supervisors.
