About the role
- Variable scheduling with up to 50% weekend coverage.
- Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Provides patient care in an advanced assistive role within the clinical setting, under the supervision of the Manager and daily direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assists the RN with the daily care of assigned patients, including bathing, oral hygiene, repositioning, ambulation and feeding.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of highly-skilled technical cardiac, arterial care, and monitoring tasks in addition to related technical tasks to support nursing practice.
- Also performs general cleaning duties as assigned.
- Measures and documents blood pressures, temperature, pulse, respiration (TPRs), intake and output (I & O), daily weights, and other patient data as requested.
- Performs data collection for presence of pain, procedure site checks, extremity pulse checks and reports to RN.
- Performs various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique.
- Must maintain competency thereafter.Post hire, must maintain successful completion of unit-based clinical training in caring for patients with interventional procedures.

Requirements
- Required Functional Experience Typically requires 2 years of experience in acute patient care as a Nursing Assistant.
- Performs a wide variety of patient care tasks to support activities of daily living, as well as specific technical tasks and/or monitoring required for the patients' individualized written care plan.
