About the role
- KPF, a global architecture practice headquartered in New York City, is seeking a Senior Designer in New York City.
- Work Environment: This position requires you to be in person in our New York office 5 days per week.
- Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 Annual Why KPF?
Responsibilities
- Contribute to master planning, site planning, and building design through high‑quality digital and physical design exercises.
- Develop conceptual and schematic design proposals, project layouts, and 3D models using Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, and other design tools.
- Prepare compelling presentation materials, including diagrams, renderings, models, and design narratives for client and internal review.
- Support project coordination activities, including design calculations, compliance research, zoning and code analysis, and specification review.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, architectural detailing, and technical drawings.
- Provide design direction and mentorship to junior and intermediate team members.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a positive, high‑performance project environment.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Ability to speak and make presentations in front of large project team groups.
- Experience with site planning, zoning analysis, and relevant code compliance.
- 10+ years of relevant architectural design experience
- Strong conceptual design skills supported by excellent visual, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Ability to develop, communicate and present design concepts to project teams.
- Strong communication and excellent graphic presentation skills
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite is required. Grasshopper experience preferred but not required.
- Work Environment:

- Construction Administration experience a plus
- LEED accreditation and architectural license preferred.
Compensation
- $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 Annual
