ABOUT YU MING CHARTER SCHOOL Yu Ming Charter School is a non-profit, tuition-free network of public schools located in Oakland and San Leandro and open to all residents of California.
We currently serve 1060 students across three campuses, and continue to grow our enrollment each year.

Responsibilities

Performs regular custodial work as needed
Maintains storage area for equipment, materials, and supplies
Manages the inventory of cleaning supplies and informs the Office Manager when supplies are running low
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Maintain the safety and security of the students and campus, foster a safe school culture and model/promote positive behaviors by providing high visibility and interaction throughout the school
Assist with meal time duties, including lunch support and distribution

Requirements

Proficiency in English
High School Diploma or equivalent and one year of experience working comparable to that of a custodian
Position is a 12-month position with certain holiday days/weeks off throughout the year.
Students are present for the 180-day school year.
Hours worked are 7am-3:30pm.
