About the role

Responsibilities
- Implement new features as specified
- Write Technical Specification Documents for offshore service
- Develop toolkit extensions based on Finastra Essence toolkit API
- Respect high level coding and design standards, and quality best practices
- Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and succes s.
- Reporting to the Regional Head of Services Delivery, the Senior Technical Consultant will implement new features, be involved in upgrades, deliver customizations described in functional specifications using the Finastra Essence toolkit API and you will be involved in designing solutions for the customer needs, working closely with regional teams.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in relevant area of expertise, preferably for a financial institution or an industry banking software company.
- A degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
Nice to have
- Finastra Essence technical knowledge is a plus
