About the job: Summary of Responsibilities: A Corporate Banking Associate is a member of a client-facing team within BBVA's Corporate & Investment Banking division.
Level of Complexity and Risk Involved: ● The Associate position requires a high level of involvement and responsibility.
Scope of Duties: Associates play a critical and indispensable role as members of the Corporate Banking team.

The Associate's primary responsibility is to support Relationship Managers in developing, marketing, and delivering the bank's wide range of products and services to corporate clients, with a significant focus on the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector.
The Associate will coordinate closely with Relationship Managers and product partners across the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia to support transaction execution, including proposal preparation and liaising with Risk, Portfolio Management, Legal, Operations, and Finance teams.
Associates support Global relationship managers in all day to day operations from client and industry analysis to working on live transactions and deal execution.
Associates are also expected and encouraged to interact daily with product partners to enhance internal communication and accomplish deliverables.

Bachelor's degree with 4 years minimum of work experience
Management Responsibilities: Associates work with various senior bankers.
Each associate is responsible for a set number of client accounts within various industry sector(s).
With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $120,000 to $140,000.
It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
Market and organizational factors are also considered.
In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
