About the role

Morstan General Agency is seeking a Commercial Lines P&C Broke r to join our growing team in Morristown, NJ!
The Commercial Lines P&C Broker will gain technical knowledge along with an understanding of internal processes and procedures necessary to be effective in a Broker or Binding Authority Underwriter role.
The Commercial Lines P&C Broker is responsible for assisting in achieving incremental sales goals, along with participating in various training and educational opportunities.

Develop thorough understanding of internal operations to successfully extend Company facilities, utilizing binding authorities or brokering risks when required to successfully negotiate a placement.
Recruiting Vendors must have a valid written agreement and received prior written authorization from an authorized Brown & Brown representative before submitting candidates for any publicly posted role.

Bachelor's Degree (B.A) from four-year college or university or equivalent industry experience.
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
5 years' experience in a similar position

$75k - $200k Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
