About the role

  • This role will be responsible for driving a successful customer implementation from start to finish, setting the underlying foundation of their OpenGov platform, while promoting maximum value for their investment in OpenGov.
  • This position requires advanced product knowledge in Municipal Utility Billing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and address customer requirements and pain points, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that simplify, enhance, and automate workflows.
  • Develop deep expertise in governmental processes across multiple states to better meet diverse customer needs and provide innovative solutions.
  • Gather, document, and communicate customer feedback and feature requests, contributing to product discussions and ensuring OpenGov is a "must-have solution."
  • Work closely with internal departments, such as Research and Development and Sales, to drive delivery efficiencies and inform product roadmaps.
  • Join a trusted team with the passion, technology, and expertise to drive innovation and bring AI to local government.
  • These solutions come together in the OpenGov ERP, allowing public sector organizations to focus on priorities and deliver maximum ROI with every dollar and decision in sync.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software implementation consulting experience with demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform implementations.
  • Advanced knowledge of analyzing and reporting large volumes of financial data with strong understanding of data architecture and business process workflows.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Municipal Utility Billing, Tax Billing, or related field.
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions, APIs, or Cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile & Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changes in product features and strategically address evolving customer needs.
  • Ability to effectively network and influence stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
  • On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.

Compensation

  • Chicago, IL: $120,000 - $130,000
  • On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.
  • The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate's geographical location.
