About the role
- Operator sets up machinery to produce product to company specification by following prints and shop orders or other specification that may be needed on Fanuc control Mills and or Lathes.
- Selects correct machine to properly fabricate parts.
Responsibilities
- Uses fork truck or push cart to deliver product to desired location.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to read micrometers
Nice to have
- Programs CNC machines to produce product a PLUS.
- Two to three years of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Basic math, tape measure, and Fractions & decimals knowledge preferred
Skills
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
