About the role
- You will have the opportunity to work with our master architects, engineers, and consultants, to understand our clients' needs and craft sustainable IT roadmaps to get them there.
- Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers on designated solution focus area
Responsibilities
- Develop and finalize solution architecture/design and detailed line item configurations and/or bill-of-materials (BOMs)
- Develop and finalize solution proposal and/or presentation of recommended solutions
- Function as a subject matter expert (SME) for customer technical staff regarding proposed solution and its design, configuration, implementation, and testing specifics
- Assist in developing a get well plan, as appropriate
- Complete training and maintain OEM certification(s) as requested and approved by management, in accordance with assigned focus area
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent applicable work experience
- 2+ years of experience in designing or implementing complex network or systems/storage solutions
- 3+ years of experience in providing pre-sales engineering support
- Deep expertise in Network Security with hands-on experience supporting and/or architecting solutions on at least one leading platform (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, or similar)
- Strong Endpoint Security experience with proficiency in one or more industry-leading solutions (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, or equivalent)
- Proven success selling IT Security Services, including the ability to discuss sales performance metrics such as quotas, attainment, and contribution to revenue growth
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a small, high-performing team environment (2-3 team members) while partnering closely with sales representatives and sales leadership to develop and execute against customer security initiatives and budget objectives
- Experience engaging with management and executive-level stakeholders on strategic security topics, including Zero Trust, cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory/compliance requirements (e.g., NIST 800, SOX, GLBA, CIS Controls, and related standards)
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
- Strong attention-to-detail
