About the role
- This position is subject to emergency call-back for after-hours work.
- Assures that safety and company policies are implemented.
Responsibilities
- Promotes safety practices and maintains good housekeeping, e.g. general cleanliness of worksites, vehicles and equipment and assures that proper tools are available and in working order.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to drive and operate heavy and light trucks and equipment.
Requirements
- A bility to travel approximately 25% of the time required.
- Performs skilled work assigned by the Line Foreman in the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission lines and does related work as required.
- Must be able to climb poles
- Required Skills/Abilities:
Skills
- Detailed oriented and analytical.
- Ability to operate all tools and equipment of the trade.
- Practical and educational knowledge of electrical workers' safety rules.
- Working knowledge of electrical, maintenance, and systems experience.
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- Must be able to work outside, in industrial buildings, and in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to climb poles; works at heights.
- Duties/Responsibilities: Coordinate work with each customer and ensure tools and resources are allocated appropriately.
