About the role

  • Babilou Family US is thrilled to announce the opening of our next early childhood education school in Boston, MA, launching in Fall 2026.
  • Our new school will be located in the heart of Harvard's Enterprise Research Center (ERC), One Milestone-placing high-quality early learning at the center of a world-renowned innovation district.
  • This new school on the Harvard Campus will be the latest addition to our school family and serve as our flagship location.

Responsibilities

  • Lead classroom organization and routines that promote environmental responsibility, mindful material use, and stewardship habits.
  • Deliver consistently high‑quality lessons aligned with curriculum and sustainability goals
  • Support each child's developmental needs, using observation and documentation to guide instruction and promote holistic growth.
  • Document observations for 100 percent of assigned children each month
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families through consistent, professional, and sustainability‑minded communication practices.
  • Serve as a Mandated Reporter in accordance with state law, maintaining full responsibility to recognize, document, and immediately report any suspected child abuse, neglect, or endangerment.
  • Maintain strong family satisfaction feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen classroom systems, curriculum implementation, and the school's sustainability initiatives.
  • Coach and support Assistant Teachers in instructional practices and environmentally responsible classroom routines.
  • Demonstrate consistent collaboration and support for classroom team members

Requirements

  • Must pass required state and company background checks.
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in classes.
  • Ability to stand, move, run, and play for most of the day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50pounds multiple times a day.
  • 401(k) plan with eligibility for a discretionary employer contribution each year (Must be 21+ to enroll.
  • Pay increase opportunities related to job performance, updates in certification credentials, and degree completion.
  • EEC teacher certification or requirements completed to be submitted for review (for roles requiring EEC Certification).
  • Adhere to all company policies and EEC regulations.

Compensation

  • Participate in at least two-family engagement events per year
  • Complete 100 percent of annual training requirements
