- Job Description: SCOPE: The Senior Specialty Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the execution, operational performance, and staff leadership of Specialty Pharmacy services across the State of Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Mary Bird Perkins and its partners work together to provide state-of-the-art treatments and unparalleled collaborative, comprehensive cancer services.
Requirements
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state.
- Previous managerial experience required
- Knowledge of Cleanroom procedures and USP 797 & 800.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices in pharmaceutical care.
- Advanced training in business, public health, health administration, pharmacy administration, or completion of an administrative residency or specialized training in oncology/specialty pharmacy.(preferred)
- Comprehensive understanding of infusion & oncology pharmacy.
- Ability to develop and integrate innovative pharmaceutical care services.
- Commitment to the principles of pharmaceutical care and alignment with the Director of Pharmacy's goals.
Nice to have
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy (Pharm.D. preferred).
