About the role

  • Carpenter Technology Corporation is a leading producer and distributor of premium specialty alloys, including titanium alloys, nickel and cobalt based superalloys, stainless steels, alloy steels and tool steels.

Responsibilities

  • Apply statistical methods to solve problems and design experiments.
  • Interact with operations, technical, R&D, purchasing, and quality personnel as well as providing technical support during customer audits.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Ability to provide support and guidance to peers, customers and manager in key projects and opportunities with minimal assistance.
  • Ability to lead, support and participate on project teams.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate well with production operators on the shop floor to drive improvement in safety, quality, productivity and costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or related field required.
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience required.
