About the role

This position will use cloth, hand tools, and power tools to ensure a smooth surface; and will be responsible for inspecting items for flaws or cracks.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee will have occasional bending and twisting.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent is required
1 year experience in Production environment required
Required to adjust, start, or stop equipment during grinding/polishing process.

Nice to have

Experience with high end metal polishing is preferred

Skills

Ability to work with power tools
Ability to set up and operate polishing equipment
Ability to manipulate wheel/components using proper pressure and duration to obtain desired polish
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team and individual contributor
Ability to use computer to review drawings / blueprints
Mechanical aptitude is desired
English (reading, writing, verbal), Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply)
Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holiday hours.
Ability to legally work without sponsorship for employment visa status.
There will be constant usage of his/her hands to grasp and manipulate objects, tools or controls.
