About the role
- This position will use cloth, hand tools, and power tools to ensure a smooth surface; and will be responsible for inspecting items for flaws or cracks.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee will have occasional bending and twisting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- 1 year experience in Production environment required
- Required to adjust, start, or stop equipment during grinding/polishing process.
Nice to have
- Experience with high end metal polishing is preferred
Skills
- Ability to work with power tools
- Ability to set up and operate polishing equipment
- Ability to manipulate wheel/components using proper pressure and duration to obtain desired polish
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and individual contributor
- Ability to use computer to review drawings / blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude is desired
- English (reading, writing, verbal), Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply)
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holiday hours.
- Ability to legally work without sponsorship for employment visa status.
- There will be constant usage of his/her hands to grasp and manipulate objects, tools or controls.
