About the role

  • The Inside Auto Claims Adjuster is responsible for investigating basic and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims.
  • This role may handle non-represented claims and requires evaluating coverage, determining liability, and negotiating settlements.
  • The adjuster works directly with claimants, insureds, and other involved parties to ensure timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed and well-documented claim files, including notes, summaries, and decision rationale.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient and customer-centric claim handling.

Requirements

  • The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
  • When working from home, you must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, along with appropriate desk and seating.
  • Reliable internet is required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of prior claim handling experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail with solid critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
  • This position is not available for California, Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii residents.
  • Notice of Licensing Requirement:
  • As a condition of employment, you may be expected to obtain an adjuster's license in multiple markets.
  • All required licenses must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • You must maintain all licensing required for your role.

Compensation

  • Base compensation offered for this role is $50,000-$60,000 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
  • This policy applies to all aspects of the employment relationship, including, but not limited to, hiring, training, salary administration, promotion, job assignment, benefits, discipline, and separation of employment.
