About the role

This role is vital in fostering a supportive learning environment and promoting academic and personal growth.
We require a commitment of at least 15 hours/week for the full school year.
A full time role may also be available for a qualified candidate. $33-$40/hour AJ Tutoring and Cypress College Prep are sister organizations that share space in downtown Menlo Park.

Mentor and support neurotypical middle school students in their academic and personal development.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation.
Ability to develop and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.

Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
Experience working with students with ADHD and autism.
Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills with a passion for working with middle school students.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Deliver individualized educational sessions to students with ADHD and autism.
