About the role

The Robot Tech will be responsible for completing the setup and installation of GM configured robots from a single robot to multiple robot cells.
Promoting good communication within the robotic department to ensure a quality product is essential.
PAY RATE: Hourly ($29.30-$37.05USD based on experience)

Work closely with Robotic supervisor/s and department leads on continuous improvement
Maintain and support departments
Program robot paths, set up program structure and implement offline programming
Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner and know how to properly lock out all energy sources, including stored energy (GM MPS)

Knowledge and experience using Fanuc DCS software
Degree, Diploma or Certificate from a Mechatronics
Working knowledge of communication protocols (Enet IP)
Ability to work as a team member and individually
Perform other reasonable duties as required
Overtime hours will be required
Successful candidates will possess programming capability, as well as have demonstrated experience with good trouble shooting, startup support.
Robot programmer will ensure all equipment is in a working order and will assist and train other robot techs as required.
