  • This position is responsible for recycling scrap products in order to help ensure the entire operation is producing quality thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and polycarbonate (PC) film & sheet.

Responsibilities

  • The Specialty Films site in North America is seeking a Regrind Operator Trainee to support the production of its polyurethane and polycarbonate films.
  • Document scrap/regrind inventory in order to ensure the entire Production & Materials Management Departments have the most up-to-date information about regrind levels.
  • Maintain production volume and efficiency through this physically demanding process.
  • Perform other reclaim operations (such as peel back of aliphatic film to remove interleaf, cut scrap rolls of film on guillotine) before film can be reprocessed.

Requirements

  • Assist Production Line Operators with ancillary functions when grinding is not required.

  • Must be willing to work a 12 hour shift
  • Positions are available on day shift (7am-7pm)
