Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end facility operations: Plan, direct, and take full accountability for all warehouse activities supporting Visit.org's global social impact events, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Build a high-performing team: Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse staff and local leadership.
  • Drive KPI improvements: Actively measure and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Standardize and scale workflows: Identify operational inefficiencies and spearhead initiatives to build, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that scale with our global growth.
  • Financial & budget accountability: Manage the financial performance of the site by controlling labor costs, keeping expenses aligned with budgets, and assisting with cost tracking and reporting.
  • Heavy logistics & palletization: Oversee the execution of complex logistics, including sourcing materials, tracking global shipments, and handling heavy palletized shipments (building, wrapping, and moving pallets for outbound freight).
  • Internal partner alignment: Act as the primary liaison for internal teams regarding event supply needs, ensuring logistics timelines match event schedules seamlessly.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team in a hands-on operational environment.
  • Visit.org is looking for a passionate, high-velocity Site Lead to own and scale our fulfillment and logistics operations.

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or fulfillment.
  • Experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing SOPs or process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
  • Experience with picking, packing, shipping, and basic warehouse supervision.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management tools.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
