About the role

  • This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland.
  • The Montgomery MRF is an industrial facility that receives, sorts, bales and loads out approximately 75,000 tons of Fiber and Commingled Recyclable Materials received each year through Montgomery County's curbside collection program.

Requirements

  • An Associate's Degree in a relevant field of study with at least 5 years of experience will be considered.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points, must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and must be able to pass a HAZMAT physical exam.
  • CSP Certification and additional experience beyond the required years of experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience in these disciplines, including experience in waste management or recycling operations.

Compensation

  • $55,256.40 - $75,978.12
  • Eleven paid holidays per year
