About the role

Project Resources Group (PRG) is currently searching for a Construction Coordinator (Virtual Costs Estimates) for our Cost Estimate team in the Houston, Texas area.
Stay in constant communication with project managers and coordinators overseeing the projects, as well as OSP and local fiber planners.
PRG cost estimate team will be responsible for uploading cost estimates to related systems for the client's review and approval.

Interact with the PRG cost estimate team and attend meetings (by phone, in person or via Google Video) with the local construction coordinators prior to invites to the office to collaborate with coordinators on upcoming projects to be estimated.
Customer service acumen to interpret, communicate, and help deliver client needs.
This role is responsible for developing accurate and timely cost estimates for fiber and cable construction projects by collaborating with project managers, construction coordinators, OSP planners, and local teams.
The position supports the full estimating lifecycle-from pre-estimate coordination and field considerations to reporting and client submission-while ensuring compliance with local dig laws and construction standards.

Must have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on work experience in cable construction, with an intimate knowledge of coaxial cable.
Strong understanding of fiber and coax construction.
Computer proficiency and Microsoft tools to create, manage, and present data and reporting to various stakeholders and management.
Must be able to sit and stand for long durations throughout the day.
Qualifications Must have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of hands-on work experience in cable construction, with an intimate knowledge of coaxial cable.
