About the role
- Newfront's Emerging Risk Unit (ERU) is a dedicated brokerage and client-service practice built for fast-moving, venture-backed and other innovation-driven businesses that face new or rapidly evolving exposures.
- This position is responsible for successfully implementing and growing the ERU vision.
- This position is a salaried, exempt and full-time role.
Responsibilities
- They will drive innovation and efficiency within the practice through the enhanced use and adoption of technology, processes, and organizational alignment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7+ years of Property and Casualty insurance brokerage experience is required.
- ability to screen details and identify potential discrepancies.
- Ability to learn and adopt use of technology systems and software applications, including a basic knowledge and use of standard features Microsoft Office and Google Suite

- Emerging-Risk domain expertise - familiarity with fast-evolving sectors (AI/ML, FinTech, Digital Health, Hardware/Chips, Gig Economy, etc.) and the unique insurance structures they require.
- Inspiring people leader- coaches and motivates cross-functional teams while steering change. Proven experience in leading high-performing teams focused on delivering exceptional client service and building lasting relationships.

- Resident Property and Casualty Insurance License is required.
Compensation
- The pay range for this position in California, Washington, Colorado, and New York at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $118,700 - $185,500.
