About the role
- Description/Summary The Manager of Volunteer Services plays a pivotal role in enhancing the impact of volunteerism by setting the strategic direction for the Volunteer Services Department.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to department staff while fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee data collection in Volunteer Services to inform strategic decisions and program improvements.
Responsibilities
- The role manages volunteer recruitment, engagement, and disaster preparedness efforts across multiple counties.
- To prepare for disasters, the Manager takes a lead role as one of CVNL's representatives on one or more Community Agencies Active in Disaster cohorts (COAD/VOAD).
- Directly manage department staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement with the volunteer portal, expanding participation among volunteers and community organizations.
- Plan and implement major Days of Service and corporate engagement projects.

Compensation
- The budgeted starting salary that CVNL reasonably expects to pay for this position is $78,000 to $88,000 annually.
- This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and external market comparisons for similar positions in similar geographic locations and size.
- Sick: 11 Sick days per year Holidays: 13 days total, with 1 Floating.
